HIKING AND CAMPING:
TAKE TO THE TRAILS IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
The land in and around Suncadia begs exploration. Suncadia sits at the gateway to some of the country’s most coveted ridgelines and high mountain-lake campsites, with virtually unlimited trails (from easy to challenging) to discover Nature’s boundless glory all year long. Indeed, there is no finer or more scenic setting than this inspiring landscape, presided over by the majestic Cascade Mountains and cradled snugly by deep, grass-filled valleys. At Suncadia, we want you to discover all of it—either through long day hikes, leisurely strolls, or multi-day, overnight camping expeditions. We make it all possible. We offer mile after mile of trails throughout Suncadia (26 miles of which are paved). Residents and guests can mountain bike, hike, walk, run, stroll, ski, snowshoe, or whatever else is exhilarating and healthy.
Our nordic trail map shows nordic trails, snowshoe trails, and walking trails. Nordic trails have set tracks and areas for snowshoeing. Click here to explore summer trails. Guided on-property Washington State hiking expeditions are coordinated for your convenience. Hike to the Cle Elum River and journey through verdant forest over deer and elk trails with a knowledgeable guide. Learn area history, folklore, native plants and wildlife. Guided off-property hikes can be scheduled as well. This is a great introduction to some of the most scenic and coveted trails, lakes, ponds, outcroppings, ridgelines, and natural landmarks in the Cascades. Reservations are required.
