Nelson Preserve

Quiet beauty, check
Big fun, double check

Nelson Preserve keeps its neighbors connected through active, outdoor living. You’ll feel the energy at its original 1890s dairy farm, creatively repurposed as a year-round gathering place. Think concerts, harvest festivals and lots of family time at the pump track, community garden, pool and eatery. Plus the rest of Suncadia’s amenities are within easy reach. Along with vibrancy and a true resort feel, Nelson Preserve offers home choices that make the most of this village’s natural beauty, from ridgeline vistas to lake life.

The Neighborhoods

Nelson Lakes

It’s all about the water. (Okay, and the mountains and amenities too.) With its own lakes and waterfalls, Nelson Lakes provides right-in-the-neighborhood access to kayaking and canoeing from a community dock. Seasonally stocked, indigenous trout fishing. And gorgeous evening walks, of course. Homesites are priced from the $400s, and range between .4 – .7 acres.

Nelson Ridge

Nelson Ridge offers panoramic ridgetop views of the Cascades — but this densely forested neighborhood is nearly sold out. Remaining homesites vary from .6 to 1 acre, and are priced from the mid $400s – high $900s.

Nelson Creek

Walk along trails and creek corridors, or if you’re feeling social, walk over to the pool and farm activities next door. Gated Nelson Creek offers just a few dozen homesites from .33 to 1.5+ acres, perfect for custom homes ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 sq ft.

fun with a side of history

Historic Nelson Farm hearkens back to an earlier, simpler time in Washington State’s great heritage. Once the dairy farm of Bob Montague and family, the property retains its original 1890s farmhouse, barn, cabin and stables — which now create a charmingly rustic backdrop for axe-throwing, crafts, Friday night movies and more. On the other, more modern hand, Nelson Farm Pool offers families a zero-entry leisure pool, interactive splash pad, small-scale lazy river and whirlpool, and guest facilities such as showers and locker rooms. Nellie’s Restaurant + Bar provides grab-and-go poolside dining, cocktails, beer and wine. And just steps from the pool, Nelson Farm’s Hay Creek Garden grows fresh produce for Suncadia’s farm-to-table restaurants.
