NELSON FARM:

A LITTLE SLICE OF HISTORY THAT’S BIG FUN

The historic Nelson Farm is set serenely in the Cascade Mountains and hearkens back to an earlier, simpler time in Washington State’s great heritage.

Once a working dairy farm, the property still has its original farmhouse, barn, cabin and stables that were erected in the late 1890s. Today, Nelson Farm has been preserved and enhanced for the enjoyment of our residents and guests. It features a zero-entry leisure pool, an interactive splash pad, and a small scale lazy river and whirlpool.  Nelson Farm continues to be a heart of activity throughout Suncadia. Just steps from the pool are the Nelson Farm Gardens where some of Suncadia’s many restaurants grow the fruits and vegetables found in the resort’s restaurants in true “farm to table” fashion. Next to the garden, an outdoor mall will play host to small gatherings, concerts and farmer’s markets throughout the year.

Guests and members can arrive at Nelson Farm Pool’s check-in lobby where men’s and women’s restrooms, changing rooms, and an exterior open-air shower and locker rooms are located. This pool facility is open seasonally beginning Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Nellie’s Restaurant at Nelson Farm Pool features grab-and-go poolside dining, cocktails, beer, and wine for purchase.
