Fall Into Wellness at Glade Spring Spa

There’s much to do in Suncadia in the fall season, from hiking and taking in the explosion of color in the forest to Harvest Festival. For those seeking to unwind, there’s Glade Spring Spa, a sanctuary of calm and relaxation built to reflect the spectacular natural landscape that defines Suncadia.

Stop by the Spa on Saturdays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm for Sparkle Hour, during which time guests can soak in the pools, detox in the sauna and steam room, and try the signature cocktail featuring Dry Sparkling Fuji Apple & Vanilla. Think of Saturdays at the spa as Glade Spring’s version of happy hour! Sparkle Hour is sponsored by Dry Soda, a Seattle-based company that makes soda with culinary-inspired flavors.

“One of the best things about visiting the spa in the fall is the colors you will see outside,” says spa manager Kourtney Pugel. “Whether you are in our sanctuary curled up on one of our love sacs next to the fireplace or outside having a soak you will see an array of oranges, yellows, and greens. You might even spot a deer wandering right next to the spa.”

Popular spa menu items throughout the year include relaxing and rejuvenating treatments like the Mineral Rich Mud Scrub and Wrap and the Crystal Rose Revival. But don’t miss the Autumn Spice Mani or Pedi, which includes a arm and hand massage or foot soak and scrub featuring a Scents of Fall bath salts and oils. While nails dry, guests are treated to a cup of vanilla mint chai or ruby oolong tea.

Don’t leave the spa without perusing the specially selected items from the UGG fall collection, including the coziest robes and socks you’ll ever try on, and matching sweaters and pants. “They are perfect for the weather right now, not too hot but warm enough for those chilly mornings,” says Kourtney. ”We have some really great sweaters or cardigans that can be matched with jeans to relax at home or go out to a nice dinner.”
