Golf: A Pacific Northwest Golfing Experience Like No Other

The courses here are as impressive as the picturesque mountain beauty in which they are set. It’s as if each one was sculpted by Mother Nature, following the natural undulations of the mountain landscape. Golf and the great outdoors come together in perfect harmony at Suncadia, offering 36 holes of championship-caliber play in a setting that evokes a national park. Set within a pine and fir forest, with strategically placed lakes and ponds, Prospector Golf Course is adjacent to the 18-room Inn at Suncadia. The family friendly Rope Rider Golf Course was named after the coal miners who routinely balanced themselves on the coal cars that maneuvered the steep slopes of mine shafts. In fact, the foundations and portals of mines #9 and #10 remain on the course along with Tipple Hill, a 120-foot hill of coal tailings.
