Kids can get crafty with some hands-on activities and visit the petting zoo. Guest of all ages can shop for yummy treats from the food trucks and fall-inspired gifts at the Market.

And of course, no Harvest Fest would be complete without the Big Dirty Run, a race unlike any other. On October 14, adventurous participants get to run, walk, crawl, and climb through a 5K-ish course that winds through the muddy backwoods trails of Suncadia’s Nelson Preserve neighborhood. Participants who cross the finish line receive a cold glass of beer (or root beer for the little ones)! Register Here.

Nelson Farm is located near River Ridge, a gated Suncadia enclave where homesites are nestled in an evergreen forest and where adventures await right outside your front door. Currently, a limited number of homesites remain and only a few of those overlook the river corridor. If you’ve ever dreamed of building your mountain home in the forest, this is your chance to become part of River Ridge’s spirited community.

We look forward to welcoming you to Harvest Fest on October 6 -7 and 13-14 from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Imagine living close enough to championship golf courses and 40 miles of trails, to restaurants and a winery, a top-notch spa and a swim center. Now imagine having all that plus some of the best views in all of Suncadia. That’s what the Vista Collection offers, a limited number of homesites that look out to endless vistas of towering trees and snow-covered peaks from the backyard, from the front door, or from just about every window. River Ridge is a gated enclave for active adventurers, a place where stepping out your front door means miles of trails that lead deep into the woods and to the rushing Cle Elum river. Even better, the recently opened Nelson Farm pool is minutes away. At River Ridge, you can be savoring the peace of fishing in the river at sunrise, and be playing a friendly family soccer game with the neighbors before sunset. Picture your kids as they experience wildlife up close during our winter feedings for the elk that also call Nelson Preserve home. Nowhere else at Suncadia can you be closer to nature every day. Moments of quiet contemplation and communing with nature are what drew you to this private Suncadia enclave. Just a handful of homesites remain, and of those only a few overlook the river corridor. You still have a chance to build your dream home in this spirited community. Set on the 18th hole with views of the Cascade Mountain Range is the private yet tight-knit community of Tumble Creek.

For residents, becoming a member of the club offers families and friends the opportunity to come together, to connect and gather at places like the Hill House, with its swimming pool, splash pad, yoga sessions and wellness activities; to experience deluxe camping in canvas tents at Sasse Mt. Outpost; to enjoy gourmet dining and socializing at the Golf House & Grille. At Tumble Creek, 10 new homesites will soon offer nature lovers the chance to build custom homes with stunning views of the emerald forest and the golf course, close enough to miles of trails for adventuring on bike, on foot and on cross-country skis. For something entirely different, there’s Suncadia Heights, a soon-to-debut neighborhood located mere steps from the Lodge, a stone’s throw from the Swim & Fitness Center, the winery, the spa, and the Prospector Golf Course. Suncadia Heights has been created and positioned for those who desire an unbeatable location right off Suncadia Trail but also crave 180-degree vistas of the snow-covered Cascade Mountain Range, and the forest with a river that runs through it. Don’t miss out on your dream Suncadia home. River Ridge homesites are available now. Homesites at Suncadia Heights and Tumble Creek are coming soon. Just 80 miles from the city, Suncadia is a place where the mountain air tastes fresher and the sunny days are more frequent. Suncadia residents will tell you that becoming an owner gives your family a unique legacy—a getaway and a homecoming, all at once. If you’ve ever dreamt of finally owning your very own mountain home here, you should plan to visit Suncadia between September 15 to 16 for a weekend long Home Tour.

On Saturday, the tour takes place from 10am to noon and will highlight six homes in Prospector’s Reach. Set alongside Suncadia Trail and near the heart of Suncadia—on the exact spot where surveyors staked their claim in 1886—the neighborhood’s homes are a stone’s throw from the Prospector Golf Course, the Swim & Fitness Center and, of course, trails made for exploring on foot and on bike. Though it’s close to all the action, the neighborhood takes inspiration from the region’s natural and historical heritage. The result is a close-knit community that truly celebrates that Pacific Northwest spirit.

The tour continues on Sunday from 11am to 3pm in the core of Suncadia. Eleven homes will be open during the tour, some within walking distance to the golf course or winery, others steps from the Swim & Fitness Center or the Suncadia Lodge. You’ll find that each home is entirely unique but what they have in common is ample space for large families and friends, gourmet kitchens and fireplaces, and outdoor spaces for year-round entertaining.

To participate in the Home Tour event, just stop by one of the two Sales Centers to pick up a Suncadia map. You can spend an hour visiting one or all of the 17 properties. Or you can spend the entire day soaking in the Suncadia community and the fresh mountain air.

There’s much to see and do in Suncadia, and we look forward to welcoming you on Saturday or Sunday, September 15-16, and helping you find the home of your dreams.

If finding the perfect Suncadia property is a dream come true, then finding the right person to make that happen is equally important. At Suncadia, we have a team of brokers who are as passionate about the resort and community they work at as they are about helping families find their dream home.

Building a custom designed house probably ranks high on every homeowner’s dream list. At Suncadia, we know how important it is for members of our community to build a home they will love for years to come, one that fits their lifestyle and that they are happy to come home to weekend after weekend. That’s why we have partnered with some of the best home builders in Washington. We also have a team of brokers who are as passionate about the resort and community they work at as they are about helping families find their dream home.

This week, Suncadia Managing Broker Jeff Rau tells us about a new home, currently under construction, by featured builder Craig Reimer Custom Homes.

A home at 191 Legacy Trail is taking shape

Currently under construction and scheduled for completion in late 2018 or early 2019, this home will feature 2,875 square feet of living space with a master on the main floor and a junior master and two additional bedrooms that share a bathroom upstairs. There is also a large bonus room with barn doors into a bedroom with four bunk beds. All that space means the home could easily suit a multi-generational family, a family who likes to spend as much time outside as they do entertaining inside. Living in the Legacy neighborhood means the Prospector golf course is practically your back yard. This home will be a real haven in the mountains but so close to all of Suncadia’s great amenities.

Location, location

This house is set right in the heart of the community, a few hundred yards from the Swim & Fitness Center and a few hundred yards from Swiftwater Cellars Winery. It’s also set on a very private wooded site with southern exposure, which means great natural light into the back of the home and outdoor living space.

The builder

Craig Reimer has been building in Suncadia since the inception of the community back in 2004. He is one of the more respected builders in the resort thanks to his use of high-end quality finishes and great attention to detail. He really knows how to build in a mountain environment with snow conditions.

The style

This as a mountain style home with real stone fireplace, expansive outdoor living space with fire pit, and open floorplan that is great for entertaining.

Unique features

The home features a large bonus room above the garage with barn doors that open into a bunk room. It will make a great play area for kids.

The details

The home will be incredibly well appointed, with a real stone fireplace, quartz countertops, tiled showers, knotty alder doors and trim. The result is a good mix of modern mountain with lighter finishes but the wood accents for that Pacific Northwest feel.

Welcome home

This home would be great for a family that likes to be in the core of the resort and within walking distance to many amenities. Because it’s so big, it would also be great for a family to bring along another family or two as it has six sleeping areas. The home could easily accommodate three families with kids. And because we’re still in the early stages of construction, a buyer would have the opportunity to work with the builder to put their individual touches on the home.
