An Autumn Celebration at Harvest Festival

Suncadia welcomed thousands of guests during the course of the two-weekend Harvest Festival, which celebrated its 12th year.

Blessed with clear blue skies and crisp mountain air, festival revellers descended upon Nelson Farm where they wandered the hay maze and pyramid, tried their hand at pumpkin archery, savored fall-inspired treats from the food trucks, and chatted with local cider makers and vintners while sipping brews and vintages. The pumpkin patch was such a huge hit with families and we are grateful that there were enough for everyone who wanted to take one home to do so. Little ones went on pony and wagon rides and posed for photos in the petting zoo.

For some adventurous participants, things go a little messy as they crawled, climbed, ran and walked through the muddy backwoods obstacle course in Nelson Preserve. Those who made it across the Big Dirty Run finish line were treated to a cold glass of beer, while youngsters enjoyed root beer.

Harvest Festival turned out to be our most Instagrammable event ever and we’re thankful that families chose to spend their weekend with us.

See you at the next Suncadia event!
