Prepare to soak up the sun, and bask in the warmth of summer as the charming and cheerful celebration of life, better known as the Art, Wine and Walk returns to Suncadia in August.

A vibrant get-together that will be held on 24 August, the event presents an opportunity for residents to get a true taste of the Pacific Northwestern way of life in the great outdoors; not only putting the spotlight on local artists and giving them a platform to connect to a wider audience, but also showcasing the diverse offerings of the local wineries in the neighborhood. Visitors are also free to explore the surroundings, and we’ll be providing them with a handy map to make their way around the key areas covered by the event, which will kick off at the Village Pavilion.

Residents can sip on wines from Waterbrook, Browne, Canoe Ridge and Gruet as they chat with artists from Kathy Butorac Designs, Leavenworth Pottery, Chara Works and more and browse through a selection of their pieces. Suncadia’s own Taste of the Cascades and Dru Bru will also be offering light bites, beers and wines for purchase. Planned to be a summer day out for the family, the event will also feature innovative DIY stations, where kids can try their hand at arts and crafts under the guidance of the artists, while live entertainment will keep the adults grooving and moving.

With so much planned and more to come, Art, Wine & Walk is sure to become a unique annual tradition at Suncadia— so make sure it’s on your ‘to-do’ list for August!

Not all backyards are created equal.

On the sunny side of the Cascades, 80 miles from downtown Seattle, Suncadia Resort has a well established and cherished legacy. Its private residential enclave, Tumble Creek, is equally beloved by those familiar. Members of this gated neighborhood and its club have the best of both worlds. Their own exclusive 2,600-acre haven includes Tom Doak golf, trails, parks, and extensive social programming. Plus they can enjoy all the countless resort amenities at Suncadia. Now, you have an opportunity call Tumble Creek home, with the most significant homesite release here in more than a decade.

If you want to build a home in the mountains, this is the place.

A place to put down roots – along footpaths worn by elk on dewy morning hikes. On playful pool days that flow into evening outdoor concerts. Casting a line, dropping a putt, savoring harvests on shared tables. Tumble Creek is treasured by the kindred spirits who call it home — all the time, or on weekends and holidays. Here, friends are made almost instantly, and gatherings are legendary.

A private Tom Doak golf course. And it’s all yours.

This homesite release includes the last golf-front properties in Tumble Creek. Those who know the sport recognize Doak as one of the finest living golf course architects. Golf Digest ranked three of his courses among the top 50 in the world. His highly lauded masterpiece here takes its cue from the existing topography, listening to the land. It is reserved exclusively for Tumble Creek members. Bonus: when you arrive, the tee is yours, no tee sheets, no reservations. Just play. Besides the Tumble Creek course, your membership includes the Prospector and Rope Rider courses at Suncadia, for 54 holes of award-winning golf in total.

New this Summer: The Great House.

The best clubhouses are always alive, filled with laughter from kids of all ages. With this in mind, renowned architects Hart Howerton designed our new Great House with an entire floor dedicated to family fun and activities. Commanding the most prominent site in Tumble Creek, with infinite views of the Cascade Mountains, it will soon be home to bowling and bocce tournaments, crafts and movies, fireside yarns, inspired dining, and cocktails under the stars.

Paintbrush Lake: A setting as idyllic as its name.

Imagine a crystal clear series of ponds, reflecting the soaring pines and passing clouds, flowing from one to the next via small waterfalls. Some intimate and quaint, others that beckon a paddle board or fishing lure. This is Paintbrush Lake; and the backyards that surround it make up part of the diversity found in the new homesite release at Tumble Creek.

A rare collection of homesites: Reserve yours now.

In addition to the properties located along Paintbrush Lake and the golf course, you can also choose from sites with long views across the majestic 1200-acre Kittitas Conservation Trust preserve, encompassing the spectacular Cle Elum River corridor. Without a doubt, your perfect place in the mountains is here.

Due to their limited number, these homesites are made available through a reservation program. A refundable $2,500 deposit secures your place in the selection event later this year. Reach out to the Tumble Creek Real Estate team to schedule a visit and learn more.

Summer in Cle Elum means clear blue skies, bright sunshine and of course, the annual Father’s Day celebration that is known to one and all as Brews and Brats.

With clear skies and beautiful sunshine setting the scene, the much-anticipated event was once again held at Nelson Farm Pool, the social hub of Nelson Preserve–a place that reflects the natural ease of the neighborhood and is surrounded by panoramic vistas of the cascade Mountains. Brews and Brats was hosted by the Suncadia’s real estate team and attended by over a hundred guests of all ages, eager to kick-off what promised to be an easygoing but action-packed gathering.

There was plenty to keep everyone occupied, including tables laden with delicious snacks like beer-braised bratwurst and Wagyu hotdogs, craft creations from seven local breweries to wash them down with, and the soulful country-inspired melodies of native band Rusty Cage filling the air. Meanwhile, the little ones made a beeline for the pool, where they spent hours in the interactive splash pad and rode floats up and down the lazy river. And it wasn’t just the pool that excited them, it was the games that awaited on the lawns–the most popular of which was the family favorite cornhole. By the end of the evening, it was clear that the event was a resounding success, with smiles on every face, the adults chatting with neighbors and the Suncadia team and kids lazing around on the grass.

Well on its way to becoming a beloved Suncadia tradition, Brews and Brats not only signals the arrival of summer, it stands for all the things that make Suncadia the perfect place to call home—a tight-knit community that supports local businesses, an easygoing and cheerful gathering place, and most importantly,  a warm and inclusive vibe that welcomes one and all.

If you missed out on the festivities this year, make sure to save the date for the event in 2020!
