Suncadia welcomed thousands of guests during the course of the two-weekend Harvest Festival, which celebrated its 12th year.
Blessed with clear blue skies and crisp mountain air, festival revellers descended upon Nelson Farm where they wandered the hay maze and pyramid, tried their hand at pumpkin archery, savored fall-inspired treats from the food trucks, and chatted with local cider makers and vintners while sipping brews and vintages. The pumpkin patch was such a huge hit with families and we are grateful that there were enough for everyone who wanted to take one home to do so. Little ones went on pony and wagon rides and posed for photos in the petting zoo.
For some adventurous participants, things go a little messy as they crawled, climbed, ran and walked through the muddy backwoods obstacle course in Nelson Preserve. Those who made it across the Big Dirty Run finish line were treated to a cold glass of beer, while youngsters enjoyed root beer.
Harvest Festival turned out to be our most Instagrammable event ever and we’re thankful that families chose to spend their weekend with us.
See you at the next Suncadia event!
You’ve been dreaming of a vacation home, a getaway. You’ve been dreaming of Suncadia, a resort community that will take you from sea level to mountainside, from grey city to blue sky. Suncadia is Seattle’s backyard escape, and owning a home here means making every weekend, or any time, a vacation—no plane tickets or plans required. Want to find your spot in the sun? Make plans for our Hard Hat Home Tour.
On Sunday, October 15 (11:00am – 3:00pm), you’ll have the chance to take a peek inside some of the most beautiful and spacious homes being constructed in the Suncadia community. At each one you’ll have the chance to meet Suncadia’s Featured Builders, learn more about the unique aspects of the homes, ask questions and even discuss ideas of how you might personalize the home of your dreams.
Building the home of your dreams is easy when you work with our Featured Builders. In order to create an intentional, cohesive community of high-quality homes and amenities, Suncadia has had to establish and maintain exacting standards around what is built and how it’s built. With extensive experience under their belts, our Featured Builders meet our standards, and in the process save future owners time and money.

Autumn is here and Suncadia is celebrating the changing of the seasons with the two-weekend Harvest Festival—and everyone is invited.
Now in its 12th year, the free festival is taking place at Nelson Farm with activities for the whole family, including a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, hay maze and pyramid, pony and wagon rides, arts and crafts, live music, food trucks, pumpkin archery and so much more!
Want a glass of something special? Get your tickets ($45 per person, per event) for Harvest Apple Hop or Gathering Over Grapes to meet local makers, taste their specialty brews and vintages, and enjoy live music and bites. The events go down at the Fairway Pavilion and reservations are recommended.
The festival wraps up on October 15th with lots of activities, including our 6th annual Big Dirty Run. This 5K race will have participants running, walking, crawling and climbing through the backwood trails of Suncadia’s Nelson Preserve. Think you got what it takes to make it through the muddy obstacle course? At the finish line, we’ll have a cold glass of beer or root beer waiting for you and the little ones. Don’t forget to register prior to October 15th to participate; a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Kitittas County Habitat for Humanity
We hope to see you there!
