By now you have likely heard all about Legacy, Suncadia’s last golf-side neighborhood. We are thrilled to announce that the sales launch event that took place on July 8th was a great success, with 24 homesites sold!

On that sunny Saturday morning the excitement was palpable as some 50 guests and VIPs gathered at the Suncadia real estate sales office. At 10:15am the very first family on the reservation list sat down with the Suncadia team to confirm their chosen homesite and to go over all paperwork. On a large wall map, everyone toasted with a glass of bubbly as each new addition to the Legacy community placed a pin on their future homesite. To commemorate the event, owners took home a champagne flute etched with the Legacy logo.

“It was great to see how excited everyone was,” says Roger Beck, Managing Director of Suncadia Real Estate. “During the event, new owners met their future neighbors, exchanged phone numbers and took pictures together. You can already tell that Legacy is going to be a tight-knit community of like-minded individuals.” Still thinking about becoming part of the Legacy community? Visit the Suncadia website to take a look at the eight remaining homesites available for sale.

The celebration continued in the Barnyard at Nelson Farm as new Legacy owners joined other members of the Suncadia community for a delicious BBQ and enjoyed a live music performance by local singer/songwriter Christy Lee. We wish all the Legacy families a hearty congratulations and look forward to welcoming them in their new homes very soon.

If finding the perfect Suncadia property is a dream come true, then finding the right person to make that happen is equally important. At Suncadia, we have a team of brokers who are as passionate about the resort and community they work at as they are about helping families find their dream home. Jeff Rau is one of these brokers.

A native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Jeff moved to Washington in 2005 and has been with the Suncadia team since. “I have represented some 300 families and buyers,” says Jeff, who sells an average of 30 Suncadia properties per year. Before entering real estate, Jeff was a golf professional for 15 years at high-end private golf communities. Golf is still a passion of Jeff’s, but since joining Suncadia he’s added mountain biking, fly fishing, skiing and hiking to his list of hobbies. “I still play golf and love that Suncadia has three fantastic golf courses,” he says. Another of his many passions is helping clients find their perfect property at Suncadia. Jeff is proud to say that many of his clients have become great friends.

One of Jeff’s newest listings at Suncadia is a luxury craftsman style home at 1160 Pinegrass Loop. “Everyone who’s been to this house falls in love with the view,” says Jeff. The house, which he describes as a modern mountain home, features an ideal floorplan with 4,400 square feet of living space, 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and lots of space to spread out, both inside and out. Just outside the kitchen’s accordion doors is a massive covered patio with kitchen, and beyond it a firepit. “A family who likes to entertain would love this home,” says Jeff. “But I can also see a retired couple with adult kids and grandkids loving it here too.”

Designer finishes are used throughout but what really stands out are the massive stone fireplace and the huge windows that affords postcard perfect views of the outdoors. “This house offers 180-degree mountain views,” says Jeff. The best part is that this is one of only 18 homes in the neighborhood and each home backs to a 1,200-acre conservancy. “You don’t see any homes out of your back door,” says Jeff.

What people love about Suncadia are the trails, miles and miles of them leading into the forest, the golf courses, and the village core. “Living in Suncadia you really feel like you’re living in nature. Plus there are great amenities: the pools are off the chart, there are tons of events for the whole family year round. There is always something going on,” says Jeff. This home is great because it offers those stunning mountain views but it is only a short walk to the village and to Swiftwater Cellars Winery. “This home sits on an amazing piece of land!”

Building a custom designed house probably ranks high on every homeowner’s dream list. At Suncadia, we know how important it is for members of our community to build a home they will love for years to come, one that fits their lifestyle and that they are happy to come home to weekend after weekend. That’s why we have partnered with some of the best home builders in Washington.

Meet TMT Homes NW. “We started building nearly 30 years ago in the Tri-Cities, Washington,” says TMT’s Vice President, Nora Wolf. “We are a family operated business, focused on quality, functionality, and beautiful design.” So far, TMT has built six homes in Suncadia, and hundreds of homes in Tri-Cities, homes that modern families love because they feature well thought out designs that pair expansive natural lighting with functional designs.

“We believe that the appeal of Suncadia is the dichotomy of nature and nurture,” adds Wolf. “You can enjoy the mountains, trees, and rivers in luxury.” Indeed, those who are lucky enough to live in Suncadia can take advantage of a wide variety of activities, steps from their homes—from hiking, biking, exercise clubs, parks, pools, multiple golf courses, fine dining, wine, fishing, live music festivals, and top-notch spa services. “Suncadia gives owners the opportunity to submerse in the beauty, serenity, and tranquility that nature offers coupled with luxury and modern comforts of home,” says Wolf. The team at TMT believes that Suncadia homes should be designed as sanctuaries in nature, so that each home enables people to escape the stress, the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature, family, and each other.

TMT is unique because the company not only keeps up with the latest building trends and developments in the industry, but also because they always produce top quality homes designed for today’s lifestyle. “The homes that we build in Suncadia reflect the nature and nurture mindset,” says Wolf. “Our homes are built with colors and materials that you would find in nature. Materials like wood, natural paint color and tones, stone, rock, and iron. The homes we build also meet people’s desire for comfort, technology, and luxury.” TMT homes feature luxurious bathrooms, gourmet kitchens, and gathering areas that are perfect for entertaining and relaxing.

“These are integral aspects of every home we build,” stresses Wolf. “Our homes seek to bring the comforts of home to the outside, and the natural serenity of nature to the inside.” She strongly believes that the custom homes they build create a harmonious and rejuvenating experience for homeowners. “That is what the Suncadia community and the people who want to live here are seeking, and we deliver their desires in a beautiful package.”
